Every now and then we expect a planned litter, into which we of course put a great deal of care and time. Below you will find all the information in broad strokes.

Our vision
At Yoake Sou we value personal contact and we expect future owners to be on the same page as us: a passion for the breed, but also a sense of family. We help and support one another, but above all we want to have fun. That is why we hold at least one enjoyable get-together between the puppies every year.
That is of course not compulsory, but it is great fun and at the same time a good moment of socialisation and contact for the dogs.
The breed clubs also organise lovely events, such as annual walks and our personal favourite: coursing. With coursing you really trigger your dog’s hunting instinct and let it burn off its energy.
Beyond that, we find it important that the puppies grow up well. If there are problems or wherever support is needed, we are always ready to help. The Shiba is not an easy breed, so it will certainly be a challenge, but it always works out.
What does a puppy cost?
This matters too, of course. We keep a transparent indication and a fair price; it is important that a puppy is bred correctly. Because Shibas are not large dogs, litters are often small while interest is high. At the moment we use the following indicative price:

What can you expect from us and what comes with your puppy?
We think it is important that your puppy comes home healthy and well prepared. That is why every puppy comes with the following as standard:
- Vaccinated and dewormed on schedule, with a European passport
- Chipped and registered in your name
- The test results of both parent dogs
- A puppy pack with food and toys
- Purchase contract with lifelong aftercare
The official FCI pedigree via the Dutch Kennel Club follows later: it has to be requested and takes time. We bring the pedigree in person or send it to you. You can read more about the processing time at the Dutch Kennel Club.

Do you work with a waiting list?
No. For each litter we look at which interested people are the best fit for the litter and the puppies.
What does a puppy cost?
The price is the same for every puppy, regardless of colour or sex. We discuss the exact price during the introductory meeting.
Are the parent dogs tested?
Yes, both parents are fully tested for the conditions that occur in the Shiba Inu. We share the results openly with you.
Can I choose a colour or sex?
You may indicate your preference, but we place mainly on character and the match between puppy and family.
When can the puppy come home?
Around eight weeks of age, once the puppy is well developed, vaccinated and chipped.
Do you offer aftercare?
Of course. We remain reachable for questions and advice, always. A little piece of us stays with every puppy.
