Who we are
We are Luuk and Frances, two Shiba lovers from Amsterdam with a deep passion for this remarkable breed. Together with our dogs we form a small family in which love, attention and respect come first.
Yoake Sou is not a large kennel, but a place where our dogs grow up in a homely setting as full members of the family. For us it is not only about the looks of the Shiba Inu, but above all about their character, health and wellbeing.
Every dog has its own personality, and it is precisely those unique traits that make the Shiba so special. With plenty of love, patience and dedication we make sure our dogs get the best possible foundation for a happy and healthy life.
It all started with this look
Sometimes a single moment changes everything.
For us that moment was our first meeting with Nero. With his headstrong character, curious gaze and typical Shiba presence, he won a place in our hearts straight away.
What began as love for one dog slowly grew into a deep passion for the breed. We wanted not only to enjoy life with a Shiba, but also to learn everything about their behaviour, health and needs.
Nero showed us how special a Shiba Inu can be: independent and headstrong, yet at the same time incredibly loyal and loving in his own way.
He became the beginning of our journey and the inspiration behind Yoake Sou.
